The Next Morning

While the whole world is fast asleep after a late night of Halloween fun, we had no choice (Thanks, Shaylor) but to get up early and start on the Saturday chores. I took some pictures to share the fun so you all know what you missed.

Shaylor played in the piles of leaves Ian and I raked.

Ever-responsible, caring, selfless Ashlyn came to see what she could do to help and put the leaves in the trash can for us.

Noelle jumped rope - she's getting quite good! (What?...There's work to be done?...Where? - She's all about playing most of the time - as a 7 year old should be!) I love the close-up of her - it captures her very essence!

Sweet Gracie was asleep while this was going on...until Mommy came in and started flashing lights in her eyes. She's saying, "Put the camera down mom and get me out of this thing!" We're growing out her bangs, and rarely see her beautiful eyes these days because she refuses to keep anything in her hair.

And poor Maisy has to look on from the window. She would love to come out and play with us, but she always runs away and I wasn't in the mood to go around the neighborhood waking everyone up with, "Maaaaaaaaaaisyyyyyyyyy."
